Architecture in Augsburg - experience glorious epochs
Augsburg was founded in 15 B.C. and is today the second oldest city in Germany. At the time it was one of the largest Roman settlements north of the Alps. Besides the influence of the Romans, Augsburg was particularly moulded by the influence of the Renaissance and the Rococo era. Famous artists working in Augsburg at the time created numerous beautiful buildings and historical places of interest.
