Our new Internet portal, where I would like to warmly welcome you, is a milestone in joint regional marketing of the city of Augsburg, the district of Augsburg and the district of Aichach-Friedberg!
In the competition of regions in a globalised world it becomes increasingly important to have a national, even international perception for securing the site, e.g. by the settlement of new companies or by a healthy expansion of existing companies. We face this challenge in a focused fashion by consistently bundling regional forces for effective site marketing and by deliberately bringing the strengths of our region to the outside world.
The required structure of a marketing strategy for such a complex product as a region requires multiple steps within the internal process. The Augsburg AG is proud to have essentially motivated this process. Important stages on this road were the foundation of the municipal "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Region Augsburg", the development of the market base "A³ - next door to Munich", the development of contents and the implementation of workgroups and expert discussions.
