Since 2012, the Augsburg Technology Transfer Congress has established itself as a regional platform and meeting place for the worlds of science and business. Every year, over 300 participants from well beyond Bavarian Swabia come together. The aim of the Technology Transfer Congress is to encourage companies to collaborate with universities and research institutions by presenting a wide range of opportunities for cooperation.

Experience innovation

Megatrends such as digitalisation, as well as other topics arising from the current projects of the participating partners (from academia and industry), and service-oriented aspects of innovation management and technology transfer in general, shape the range of topics. These will be presented through examples of best practice for innovative developments in short talks and during tours of interactive stations, workshops and laboratories, under the motto ‘Experience Innovation’. The congress is aimed primarily at manufacturing companies, but also at organisations across all sectors that are engaged in digitalisation projects or dealing with materials-related issues.
